Roster of couples, prayer groups, congregations committed to pray during the Sacred Season of Prayer and Fasting in the 40 days leading up to and during the National Assembly of the Uniting Church in Australia
PRAYER MUSTER FOR SACRED SEASON OF PRAYER AND FASTING 2018
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

During the Sacred Season of Prayer and Fasting, groups of 2 or more people are committing to pray one or more of the 40 days. Together this means prayer will be happening every day. These groups have covenanted to pray for
a) The protection of the Uniting Church’s current status on marriage being between a man and a woman alone
b) The Lord Jesus Christ would lead us to repentance and raise us up as the Uniting Church in Australia (even as a remnant) to become who we were called to be.
c) Strength, wisdom, courage and protection for all ACC and partners who are delegates at Assembly including Rev Dr Hedley Fihaki (chair of ACC) and Rev Lulu Senituli. The UCA Assembly is meeting from 7th - 14th July 2018 in Melbourne, Australia.
Some of the groups who are praying are in person and include groups in churches, clusters but also married couples and friends.
There will be also be zoom prayer groups occurring most of the days during the Sacred Season where the prayers happen online or with phone connection. The ACC zoom prayer groups will be using the Sacred Season Devotional. Some groups such as the South Brisbane Cluster have agreed to be in prayer the same time each day as one another for the Assembly.
